Dr. Michael Faktor DMD, PC graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997 with a BA in Environmental Biology. From there, he attended Temple University and graduated in 2003 with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D). After finishing at Temple, Dr. Faktor moved back to Colorado and practiced in Aspen and Crested Butte.

In 2007, Dr. Faktor started a two year residency at New York University studying a course of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. After completing the Implantology course, Dr. Faktor moved home to Crested Butte and bought Elk Avenue Dental Center in December, 2008.
